About
Copper Mountain Band is a high-energy, mainstream, country music group with family roots that lie deep in the history of Montana. Members include Jacque Jolene (Lead Vocals), Israel David (Vocals, Guitar), Shawn Davis (Lead Guitar), Nate Norman (Bass), and Casey Mann (Drums).
Israel, Shawn, and Nate are cousins that were raised on or around Copper Mountain, which is located in Troy, MT. In 2001 Nate and Israel were introduced to Jacque during a music competition and shortly thereafter combined their talents to become an acoustic trio. Nate and Jacque went on to be married in 2003. It was not until Casey and Shawn were brought into the group in 2007 that CMB was complete.
Copper Mountain Band has performed for a wide range of venues; from country clubs to fairs to weddings. They began their journey by winning a Colgate Country Showdown in 2007 and that same year opened for Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Phil Vassar. In 2008, CMB opened for Emerson Drive and Sawyer Brown.
In 2009, Copper Mountain Band released their first studio album, which still receives international attention, as well as consistent radio airtime on radio stations around the Northwest. They also opened for The Lost Trailers, backed Nashville Star winner Buddy Jewell and began their first fair tour around Montana and Wyoming. Other notable shows for the 2009 season included the Lewiston Roundup and a sold out show on Lake Coeur d' Alene for the KIX 96 FM Listener Appreciation Cruise.
This year they have already backed Doug Stone and opened for Josh Turner. 2010 is looking out to be another eventful year as CMB is slated to back Johnny Lee as well as more dates with Buddy Jewell and Doug Stone.
Performing music is an extreme passion for CMB, and is evident as they tour the Northwest, performing over 150 shows a year. The word is out and the buzz has started: Copper Mountain Band is the next up and coming group to watch for in the industry.
